**PURPOSE OF THE POSITION AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

The purpose of this position is to communicate with the relevant stakeholders; SETA, Line Managers and employees to identify training needs and mapping out development plans for teams and individuals within the parameters set by the Company’s strategy to meet the objectives.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
**Learning mapping**: Map out annual training plans for management, employees and steering Committee
- Provide clear direction on employee individual plans and learning interventions

**Learning intervention coordination**: Coordinate learning interventions as per Company’s learner matrix and SETA requirements.
- Conduct organisation training needs analysis and identify skills or knowledge gaps and provide solutions to Line Management
- Manage E-learning platform by reviewing and activating data
- Compile a learning schedule for the organisation based on the annual learning plan
- Maintain and update learning records on the database and ClickView
- Schedule approved learning interventions and provide necessary information about learning interventions.
- Design, update and prepare learning material according to SAQA and SETA standard where it is applicable.
- Compile feedback from Learning facilitators and learners after each learning intervention
- Design and develop training programs (outsourced/in-house)
- Assist with sourcing relevant external Training providers
- Manage and maintain in-house training facilities and equipment
- Research and recommend new training methods
- Support facilitators with on-line invigilation

**Reporting**: Compile daily, weekly and monthly reports based on the learning interventions
- Compile Workplace Skills Plan (WSP) and Annual Training Report (ATR) for SETA
- Attend SETA annual AGMs for updates
- Keep abreast with SETA updates and improve the internal processes or practices

**Ad-hoc**:Support Line Management on Occupational Health and Safety compliance

**Education**: Must have Matric, Grade 12 or equivalent qualification; Human Capital Degree, Diploma or equivalent qualification

**Experience**: 2 - 3 years proven work experience as Training Coordinator or equivalent role.
- Extensive knowledge on SETA compliance and Skills Development Act
- Adequate knowledge of learning management system and web delivery tools
- Must be an accredited Skills Development Facilitator
- Experience with e-learning platforms
- Accreditation as ETDP is advantageous
- Must have adequate knowledge of Ms office proficiency
- Must have strong admin skills and communication (verbal and written)

**Other**:Must be computer literate (basic); specifically MS Word, Excel and Outlook
