The Pearson Phahamisa Product Team is looking to add a passionate **Product Administrator** to its Admin team based in Cape Town, South Africa. The role will be focused on one of our highest priority projects, Phoenix 3000, which will be both customer-facing (Pearson internal customer) and external facing (vendors). You will work closely with our internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams including content development, editorial, design & digital development, content management and others. As Product Administrator you will be responsible for the following tasks, which may vary on a day-to-day basis.

**Responsibilities**:
**Product development support**
- Drive and track the process of onboarding vendors onto the Pearson system by following Pearson procurement processes.
- Quality assurance of files and briefing documents to be sent to and from vendors.
- Follow a procedure checklist.
- Tracking and following up on outstanding files with the team members to be delivered as per agreed upon deadlines.
- Transferring of files to and from servers, for example the local Pearson file server, SFTP and SharePoint.
- Share PDFs, images and any other replacement files/content with Content Liaisons.
- Receive files from Content Liaisons, and upload to the server directory.
- Establish a good working relationship with all Pearson Africa teams as well as external vendors contracted to the project.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with a range of project stakeholders, understanding their needs and goals and deliver on schedule and to scope.
- General project admin support for project Phoenix 3000 including keeping project documents, logs and registers up to date.

**Content Management support**
- Collaborate with the QA Testing & Content Management teams to ensure that all necessary final files are supplied, ready to be archived.
- Revise and refine final files in response to QA Testing feedback before submitting for re-testing and archiving.
- Collaborate with Content Management team to clean up the server directory and SharePoint after the files are re-archived.
- Manage files and folders in the Phoenix 3000 and other Microsoft Teams and SharePoint locations, as required.

**Reporting Requirements**
- Update and Extract project reports from project tracking tools at an ISBN level and share with project stakeholders on a weekly, monthly or ad hoc basis.
- Use the agreed upon project tools to update and showcase continuous data / input from the vendors.

**Key must haves**:
Microsoft Office incl. Teams, Planner & Sharepoint

Jira

Knowledge of Bookmaster

Knowledge of archiving, identifying, and retrieving product files and components

Adobe Creative Cloud knowledge a plus
