Position Overview:
The Specialist, Sales Training is responsible for the global sales training strategy and execution. This individual is accountable for the design and management of the global sales training calendar; and the administration of group standardised training (both virtual and in person). They are an expert in sales competencies and skill development and ensure that any sales training initiative and engagement relates back to the NTT Ltd. Sales Strategy and Talent Transformation objectives. They are passionate about sales learning and development and can expertly design learning approaches for frontline sales, specialist, pre sales and sales management.
The NTT Ltd. sales enablement function is centralized and smaller in comparison to the legacy industry average. Therefore, the Specialist, Group Sales Training manages and sometimes delivers group standardised training to approximately 1000 front line sellers, 500 specialist and presales resources and 300 sales managers across globe in NTT Ltd.’s priority focus countries. They therefore need to ensure all group led training and initiatives are scalable and relevant to a global audience.
They are driven to increase seller effectiveness through effective, and Just in Time (JiT) sales training and coaching. They focus on our growth priorities to drive our strategic ambitions through training interventions that improve 1) seller skills and competencies, 2) seller quota attainment, 3) average deal size.
The Specialist, Group Sales Training does not manage a team of direct reports, but rather works with a global halo team of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and Sales Operations resources to administer and sometimes deliver training to all sales roles in the sales organisation. They are measured by the enrolment, adoption and lagging effects of all training initiatives on sales performance, such as pipeline growth, conversation rate and deal velocity.

**Key Responsibilities**:
- Work closely with the Senior Director of Sales Talent Transformation to design Instructor Led Trainings (ILTs) for all sales role types across all transformation programs and initiatives inline with the global training calendar
- Administer, introduce, and sometimes present and deliver training to different sales role types across the Americas, EMEA and Asia Pacific Regional teams
- Build strong relationships with Service Division offer and product owners to ensure offer and product training is up to date, delivered by the right Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and covers the right degree of technical enablement and training
- Help build and deliver the NTT Ltd Global Sales Leader Development Program
- Coach high potential sales managers regularly across the top focus countries across 3 regions
- Responsible to support organising sales kick offs
- The ability to host virtual training sessions and maintain high energy and engagement as well as entertainment for participants
- Run ad hoc pitching and role play clinics, bootcamps or programs with sales teams
**Experience, Skills and Qualifications**:
- Sales leadership and management experience (minimum 3 years)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Mastery of MS TEAMS Live and training features
- A good understanding of scalable learning and development strategy and execution for sales teams
- Experience in training and coaching salespeople using sales and coaching methodologies, sales process and solutions outcomes
- Expert in Account planning and facilitating account planning session, strategy and execution
- High energy motivator with the ability to facilitate large scale virtual and in person training sessions
- Professional who is comfortable engaging with senior leaders and executives
