**Your responsibilities and duties will be but not limited to**:

- Answering incoming calls professionally.
- Handling queries from patients/clients respectfully and professionally.
- Managing the diary appointment bookings and theater bookings.
- Appointment reminders and courtesy follow-up on patients' post procedures.
- Capturing patients’ personal details and billing information on the system (Vericlaim) accurately and validating the details with the medical scheme.
- Check medical aid funds available for in-room consultations before consultations.
- Receiving cash payments from patients and issuing receipts.
- Electronic filling.
- Request authorisations for admissions and daily update the authorisation number on the system until the patient is discharged.
- Liaise with medical schemes and patients for accounts and general queries.
- Liaise with stakeholders for the information requested to provide quality patient services.
- Maintain integrity and confidentiality of patients’ information.
- Keeping the reception area, and the practice neat daily.
- Cleaning the equipment in the procedure room.
- Other admin and ad-hoc duties requested.

**Requirements**:

- Matric (Grade 12), Tertiary qualification.
- Computer literacy.
- Good communication skills.
- Interpersonal skills.
- Reliable and loyal person.
- Excellent telephone etiquette.
- Willing to learn.
- The ability to work as part of a team.

**Job Type**: Internship
