**OPERATIONS MANAGER ** _(Galaxy Bingo Gauteng)_

- To oversee the gaming operational compliance for all sites within the Province
- Regular site visits in the region to inspect and monitor site condition and operational compliance
- Management of site’s management component through the Branch Manager and the Technical

Support staff
- Monitoring of site management to ascertain that the sites operate in accordance with all applicable legislation, internal controls and procedures and that amendments thereto have been implemented
- Analyse risks applicable to operations, identify them and implement appropriate action to mitigate risks identified
- Ensure that occupational health and safety is being appropriately managed on all sites in terms of

Section 16(2) of the OHSA
- Ensure that the registration of site employees as FICA Compliance Officers and/or Money

Laundering Reporting Officers with the FIC is in place and that the relevant documentation as required by the FICA internal rules are available and kept and monitor that the sites have appointed staff to act as reporting officers with access to report items online with the FIC at all times
- Evaluate and assess operating costs for the region and conduct routine analysis of expenditure to ensure that costs are kept to a minimum whilst not negatively affecting standards and levels of service
- Ensure that site management appropriately manage the stock inventory
- Provide input with regards to marketing programmes and ensure that management adequately implement marketing programmes
- Ensure that management are adequately safeguarding and maintaining company assets
- Obtain and develop a working knowledge of all operations systems as well as gaming and related equipment on site
- Institute measures appropriate to mitigate or eliminate adverse audit findings. Ensure that management have implemented and constantly maintain a system for endorsing basic skills for all job specifications
- Ensure understanding and operating knowledge of all company security systems
- Controlling Food and Beverage cost percentages
- Creating of rosters in line with business needs
- Liaising with Top Management on site design and specifications
- Sourcing suppliers in line with company standards
- Negotiating with suppliers in line with company standards
- Managing the Pilot system
- Creating menus to suit specified concepts and to achieve certain targets as laid out by Top

Management.
- Training or related further education in Project Management
- Strong financial, budget planning and analysing experience
- Essential Knowledge of Pilot; Costing’s, Pricing, Menu Design and Implementation
- Knowledge of Payroll administration and all related functions including In-time
- Knowledge of Food Hygiene and various Food Preparations Methods
- Technical Knowledge of Operating Equipment and Staff Training in all aspects of Gaming and

Catering
- Problem Solving Skills
- Basic understanding of HR Principles
- Able to on occasion or as necessary avail themselves to work shifts, weekends, public holidays and peak holiday seasons

Management, minimum 5 years’ experience in Food and Beverage/ Gaming Management / Operations,
Ability to Travel (extensive travelling), Own Transport, Valid Driver’s License
