**Purpose of the Job**:
The Vendor Data Administrator is required to provide administration and oversight of the vendor onboarding, vendor vetting, vendor data integrity and maintenance, vendor performance reports and vendor deregistration processes to contribute to a strong vendor management process with clean data.

**What you have done before**:
Baseline:

- NQF Level 5 (Higher Certificate in Administration/ Business/ Supply Chain or related)
- 3 years’ experience in a procurement digital platform / compliance related role
- Proficiency is using MS Office
- Knowledge and understanding of various Procurement processes
- Knowledge and understanding of Management reporting processes
- Working knowledge of the SAP MM Module

Advantageous:

- Ability to work successfully in an ever-changing environment and navigate ambiguity
- Diploma in a relevant field is advantageous
- Knowledge of the SAP MM Module and understanding other SAP modules.
- Working knowledge of and experience in sourcing and procurement digital platforms
- ServiceNow or equivalent service management tool experience
- Experience in master data management

**What You'll Be Doing**:

- Expedite the vendor onboarding process. Support Vendors with providing the right information for vendor registration and vetting.
- Support both internal and external stakeholders with process assistance in order to expedite the vendor onboarding business process
- Articulating verbal and written feedback to stakeholders to ensure that communication is clear and stakeholders are able to understand the business process
- Query Management: identification and escalation of queries to ensure that queries are handled swiftly and properly
- Identify the root cause in the vendor onboarding process and ensure delays are minimized
- Ability to navigate a digital platform and provide guidance to others on how to navigate a digital platform to enable the vendor management processes
- to serve as a key point of contact for the vendor vetting component of the onboarding
- Ensure that vendor information is handled in line with POPIA requirements to ensure governance is maintained
- Administer** **vendor registration outputs per vendor by documenting vendor details in the system and ensure that vendor submission is aligned to the documentation provided
- Ensure data accuracy of vendor information to enable correct processing and reporting of transactions against the vendor account
- Ensure compliance to established data standards to ensure data integrity is maintained and that data is accurate and reliable
- Monitor integration between systems to ensure that issues are identified and resolved to keep data quality across all systems at a consistent and in a high standard manner
- Implement improvements to ensure that all systems in line with procurement procedures
- Keep up to date with current trends and developments in vendor vetting landscape and ensure alignment internally
- Provide comprehensive reporting and dashboards on status of vendor onboarding process with focus on progress and outstanding documentation
