Position: Food & Beverage Manager - 1 x Afternoon Shift, 1 x Rotating Shifts

Location: Grahamstown

**Requirements**:

- Grade 12
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience as a Food and Beverage Manager or in a similar leadership role within the hospitality industry.
- In-depth knowledge of food and beverage operations, including menu planning, kitchen management, and service standards.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff members.
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in financial management, including budgeting, cost control, and financial analysis.
- Familiarity with local health and safety regulations and food hygiene practices.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement strategic plans and objectives to achieve revenue and profitability goals.
- Manage the food and beverage operations in multiple locations, ensuring smooth operations and consistent service delivery
- Provide guidance and coaching to enhance the performance and skills of the team
- Collaborate with chefs and culinary teams to design and develop innovative menus that cater to diverse tastes and dietary requirements.
- Ensure the consistent execution of food and beverage offerings, adhering to quality standards and presentation guidelines.
- Conduct regular menu reviews and updates to maintain freshness, variety, and profitability.
- Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness throughout all food and beverage outlets, following local regulations and internal policies
- Conduct regular inventory management and control procedures to optimize stock levels and minimize wastage
