Business Development Representative

My client a leading reagents /chemical expert for the mining industry, located in Sandown, Johannesburg is seeking an experienced Business Development Representative to join their team.
The position is supported by the Sales Manager and Managing Director in South Africa. Business Development, Client relationships / improvements, sales support and improvements, negotiating of pricing and contractual negotiations. Establishing sufficient business within a market in order transfer clients and responsibility to a Commercial Sales Representative.
As a you will be responsible for the following areas but not limited to:
Achieving maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration within a given area(s), by effectively selling the company’s products and/or related services.
**Degree in Sales, Procurement or Supply Chain Management**
**- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role**
- **Solid understanding of sales processes and business development**
**- Knowledge of reagents and chemicals within the mining industry.**
- **Knowledge and understanding of Imports and Exports essential**:
- **Good MS Office Skills (especially excel)**:
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent negotiation and networking skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Aptitude in decision making and working with numbers
- Must be able to work accurately and within time pressures
**Salary**: R25,000.00 - R45,000.00 per month
**Education**:
- Diploma (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Chemical Sales: 3 years (required)
License/Certification:
- Own car (required)
Willingness to travel:
- 50% (preferred)
