Are you an organized and detail-oriented professional looking for a challenging administrative role? The Sub-Saharan Africa College of Technology is seeking a Personal Assistant to the College Principal. In this role, you will provide comprehensive secretarial support to the Principal while performing various office duties to ensure the smooth operation of the College.

**Position Overview**:
As the Personal Assistant to the College Principal, you will be responsible for coordinating and participating in clerical, record-keeping, secretarial, and administrative tasks within the College Office. You will also handle confidential secretarial duties for the College Principal. This position requires a high level of professionalism, excellent computer skills, and the ability to work effectively in a college office environment.

**Qualifications**:

- Matriculation
- Post Matric Qualification in Office Management and/or Secretarial Administration.
- Minimum of three years of secretarial experience, preferably in a college.
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, databases, and other programs.

**Preferred Skills and Experience**:

- Ability to work effectively in a college office setting with frequent interruptions.
- Experience managing a professional calendar.
- Proficiency in managing college office functions such as record maintenance, report preparation, online calendar management, and website updates.
- Experience using databases, preferably the college's database.
- Strong command of the English language, both written and spoken.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a pleasant and courteous telephone manner.
- Attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Mature, empathetic, and professional demeanor when dealing with students and faculty.
- Independent self-starter with good initiative.
- Ability to collaborate, motivate, and adapt to change.
- Strong multitasking abilities.
- Efficient typist with a minimum typing speed of 60 words per minute.
- Punctual, dependable, and trustworthy.
- Cheerful, relaxed, respectful, and pleasing personality.

**General Responsibilities**:

- Research, compile, and prepare routine administrative and clerical reports and documents.
- Maintain and organize confidential records and student files.
- Act as the College receptionist, greeting visitors and handling telephone calls.
- Serve as a liaison between the principal, faculty, students, and staff.
- Compose routine correspondence and handle general office typing.
- Manage the principal's calendar, schedule appointments, and organize meetings.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with college staff members.
- Prepare administrative and clerical reports, presentations, and documents using MS Word, PowerPoint, or Excel.
- Assist in organizing college functions and events.
- Coordinate procurement requests and maintenance needs.
- Provide assistance and guidance to prospective students regarding admissions.
- Conduct campus tours for visiting individuals or groups.
- Adjust work schedule assignments based on changing priorities.
- Participate in emergency drills and events.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Principal.

**College Hours**:
Monday through Friday, from 7:10 am to 4:00 pm.
