**Buyer/Purchasing Clerk - Epping, South Africa - R15 000 - R20 000**:
**Requirements**:
Experience with ACCPAC or similar software (e.g., SYSPRO)

Strong negotiation skills

Excellent organizational and communication abilities

Attention to detail and accuracy

Knowledge of procurement processes and procedures

Ability to work collaboratively with various departments

Familiarity with ISO and health & safety standards

**Duties**:
Process and raise purchase orders within purchasing authority using ACCPAC

Negotiate purchasing contract terms and conditions in collaboration with Managing Director (MD)

Maintain purchasing records, reports, and price lists

Establish and maintain effective relationships to determine procurement needs, quality, and delivery requirements

Resolve value discrepancies and reconcile accounts

Review purchase requirements on a regular basis

Attend monthly Purchasing Meetings with MD to review forecasts

Track stock inventory and manage reverse logistics for returns

Monitor monthly purchase plans and track shipments

Raise queries regarding delivered goods with suppliers

Receipt stock in ACCPAC and complete necessary adjustments

Manage departmental risks with ISO and health & safety in mind

Invite, assess, and recommend supplier quotations and proposals

Administer supplier performance including delivery, receipt, and quality

Conduct supplier audits and pre-assess new suppliers

Monitor supplier price lists and increases

Prepare Purchasing Month-end Report

Create and activate new item codes as needed

Check supplier invoices for discrepancies and report accordingly

Capture supplier invoices in ACCPAC

Cost all imported container shipments and communicate with MD before receipting stock in ACCPAC

Manage and track imported shipments, communicating delays and delivery dates with clearing agents

Request airfreight/sea freight costs and prepare documentation for exports

Track exports and provide updates to relevant parties

Prepare and complete documentation for trade finance on imports

Maintain relationships with overseas suppliers, ensuring timely payments and documentation

Monitor stationery inventory and order as needed

Order consumables and staff refreshments as required

Perform any other duties as required.
