A business offering office solutions is looking for an HR / Compliance Supervisor to perform a variety of personnel-related administrative tasks, and to focus on delivering and maintaining administrative effectiveness within the HR section, and compliance within the business. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Supervise one HR clerk Provide administrative support and guidance to all HR functions Work closely and in partnership with the Financial Manager and the HR team to provide effective process, practice and systems with the HR portfolio Deliver a positive employee experience Interact with staff and management to respond to HR related enquiries or requests Handle sensitive information confidentially Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and local legislation (such as POPIA) Provide creative and flexible HR solutions to support business growth whilst balancing the company’s interests and the business requirements Ensure effective employee engagement through implementation of HR best practices Partner and consult line managers to educate and advise on all stages of the employee life cycle including performance management, employee development, retention, training, recruitment, induction, employee relations, conflict management, disciplinary actions and Occupational Health and Safety/workers compensation REQUIREMENTS: HR related qualification (diploma / degree) Read, write and speak Afrikaans and English Minimum 3 - 5 years proven work experience as an HR Supervisor Good understanding of HR functions and best practices Sound understanding of regulation and compliance Technologically astute Microsoft Office Written communication skills for correspondence, reports and HR content Results-focused and deadline-orientated - Excellent organisational skills and attention to detai
