Manager: Strategic Support to CEO

**Duties**
- CEO Liaison
- Ensure that policy or strategy decisions taken by the CEO are communicated to the correct audience in a timely manner and implemented
- Monitor and Follow-up on action plans to ensure deliverables on the SA Tourism strategic plan.
- Participate in meetings with companys EXCO and the Board.
- Plan and coordinate quarterly EXCO planning process (objectives and key results) and events
- Project management of strategic initiatives
- Conduct research and strategically manage all CEO projects, through proper planning, coordination and monitoring e.g. CSI initiatives, projects arising out of business initiatives or proposals and board initiated projects.
- Manage CEOs budget
- Collate reports from divisions in line with the business strategic plan or CEO request
- Develop high level presentations for CEO presentation at various forums, prepare and or review all CEOs speeches for CEOs final input.
- Participate as an active tourism employee
- Prepare monthly reports and make presentations as required.
**Minimum Requirements**
- A Bachelors Degree/Diploma in Project Management/Business Management or Administration/Communication or equivalent.
- 5-8 years Project Management/Business Management or Administration/Communication experience or a related field.
- Knowledge of the Tourism industry
- Knowledge of the PFMA and regulations, and other relevant legislation e.g. the National Strategic Intelligence Act; the National Archives of South Africa Act; the Promotion of Access to Information Act.
