**Our Talent Team** is on the hunt for a **Digital Sales Specialist** to join our **Growth Division**. The role will be based in **Pretoria West, Johannesburg or Durban Westville** and report to the **National Sales Training Manager.**
**Reporting Structure**:
National Outlet, Executive, National Sales Training Manager, Digital Sales Support Specialist, Digital Sales Support Agents X3, Infield Support.
The purpose of the role is to provide Digital Sales support to Management and Infield Teams to ensure the smooth running of the RCL FOODS CUSTOMER Infield Teams. To proactively manage all administrative tasks in a timely and anticipatory manner to ensure that both internal and external customer needs are fully met. To process the information collated from the Fieldko system that will drive effective strategy formulation for the said Teams as well as controls the output of implementation. To perform data analytics that will show insight which is our richest sources of opportunity. Process data that drives the sales force system, our Outlet Targeting Model that ensures maximum return on investment from our Sales resources. Build and maintain sales system that delivers tracking/ data insights that matches performance criteria. Provide full field reporting through BI/Fieldko/Sales system reporting to all RCL FOODS CUSTOMER Functional areas. Manage Outbound Digital Sales Agents structure and ensure that they deliver on the contact matrix and strike rate targets set out.
**Duties & Responsibilities**:
**General Administration**:
Co-ordinate, plan and prepare for meetings and presentations timeously:
**Strategy Formulation**:
National Strategy Formulation and Implementation.
Work on the data insight foundation for all outlet data and ensure that it feeds decisions across the business.
Evaluate and monitor competitors and their activities.
Align sales data/Survey data/Outlet store lists to show SKU penetrations, rates of sale and calculate opportunities for the sales team to target, which will then become live sales projects.
Monitor Total sales force performance and delivery against targets, working with Regional Managers/Area Sales Managers/training teams.
**Customer Relationship Management**:
Manage Account Relationships:
Search for insight and data reports that enable the efficient management of National and Regional Accounts.
Work closely with the Master Data Manager to produce real useable actionable insight from our data sources.
Key data will include penetration and rate of sale levels of various SKUs, business growth and profit opportunities.
Assist with the Planning for the Development Consultant Teams/ Trainers/ Digital Sales Agents.
Work with the Data Manager, Regional Managers and ASM’s in the Operations teams to ensure that effective forms of an outlet targeting model are driving the resource allocation of staff cost effectively in the RCL FOODS CUSTOMER division.
Help refine the Outlet Targeting model to ensure we are sending consultants to the best potential outlets and targeting the best available SKU’s to target best possible ROI.
Provide targets lists and manage Digital Sales Agents weekly; Monthly; Quarterly strike rate and planning.
**Marketing Management**:
New product Development
Provide inputs to RCL FOODS CUSTOMER division decision making process around new product launches. Key area of input: Market potential (distribution - Rate of Sale).
Provide regional insights into category innovation in conjunction with customer marketing and provide monitors on progress.
**Marketing and Promotion**:
Work on assessments of investment returns and sales promotion effectiveness to ensure maximum profitable growth.
Market and Customer Insight Maintenance.
Drive for greater insight from the limited data available in the Foodservice arena, strive for more data sourcing and better analysis to ensure that our decisions are effective and remove risk.
Analyse and track market, customer and channel trends and in-market measures at the customer and channel level, such as distribution, share, price, and merchandising performance.
Identify business implications and make recommendations.
**Pricing Guidelines Management**:
Assist with tracking RCL brand and competitive prices across customers.
**Supply Chain Distribution Management**:
Provide ROS information by channel to brands and customer managers as required.
**Financial Management**:
You will be involved in critical ROI modelling that will effect our company profitability and ability to deliver growth but receiving tight direction from the data manager.
**Organisational Efficiency**:
