**Sales Representative Vacancy, Johannesburg - Permanent**
- The Sales Representative is responsible for establishing new business, maintaining existing sales, identify leads, educating prospects on the company and providing existing customers with exceptional support._

**Main Responsibilities**:
**New Customer and Prospects**:

- Identifying promising prospects through cold-calling, networking, and customer referrals.
- Presenting company structure, profile and services to customers.
- Building and development of customers CRM database considering energy requirements, pricing and benefits to customers.
- Develop new business opportunities and maximising sales potential of existing customers.
- Sign up customer at our filling stations and all other new sites as per the budgeted schedule as requested at different sites.
- Provide leads and set up appointments with fleet operating companies and government fleet.
- Promote and develop the new business.
- Distribute pamphlets promoting the network

**Maintain Current Customers**:

- Maintain and develop relationships with current customers.
- Service existing customers and expand the customer base as per budget.
- Optimal retention of existing customers.
- Attend monthly Taxi Association meetings.
- Makes sure taxis operate on a daily basis and meet the minimum agreed monthly volumes.
- Recover kits and associated costs from clients in the case of client defaults on agreements.
- Regular inspection of gas kits.
- Communicate to the taxi owners, fleet operators and taxi associations the company is no way liable for any issues with the taxi, e.g., maintenance, services and certification.
- Coordinate between customers and operations to improve customer / company relations. Relationship Building
- Cultivating and maintain relationships with current customers to ensure a continuous flow of sales revenue.
- Visit, follow up and support customers.
- Brand activation weekly in various locations promoting the networks.

**Networking**:

- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies. Reporting and General
- Contact customers on a weekly basis that are not filling to capacity or not filling at all.
- Monitor competitor activities and provide feedback to the Manager.
- Weekly and monthly reports are set out and sent on time on the pre-agreed date.
- Provide all supporting administration to sales and management.
- Arrange and coordinate for installation of the gas kits, services and maintenance.
- Track and ensure the minimum monthly rental fees are covered for each vehicle through gas kit portion of gas at pumps.
- Train new customers / drivers/ owners of taxis on the system.
- Managing and coordinating sales targets and ensuring the budgets are met
- Installation to be certified and certificate of compliance is issued and on file.
- Building and developing a client base
- Continuous interaction with the client base and building of client relations.
- Monitoring competitor activities and providing feedback to management.
- Report on sales and marketing progress/ opportunities to network Manager.
- Review and track sales volumes and report field activities to the network Manager on a weekly basis.
- Update and monitor contracts and ensure contracts are completed as per the requirements.
- Daily visits and activity updates reported to the network Manager.
- Create a pipeline of new fleet customers.
- Create a master list of all customers ensuring changes of drivers are captured and training provided accordingly.
- All gas kit cylinders are up-to-date and recorded on the contracts.
- Promote competitions and / or rebates running.

**Knowledge Qualifications and Experience**
- Matric
- A minimum of 2-years taxi and fleet experience
- Valid driver’s license & own vehicle
- Must have experience with, and complete understanding of the inner workings of the taxi industry.
- Be assertive with good negotiation skills.
- Has a reasonable technical knowledge and background.
- Can grasp technical aspects.
- Research and gather information
- Read and write reports, analyze information.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Good time management skills and ability to work independently.
- Self-motivated and disciplined individual who show initiate.
- Ethical approach to work.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Very good attention to detail and ability to communicate at all levels.

**Basic salary plus pension fund, commission structure offered.**

**Salary**: R10,000.00 - R15,000.00 per month
