**Hours of work**: Monday to Friday 8:00am - 17:00pm

**Role summary**:
The role will include conducting extensive efforts in contacting key prospects in East Africa, generating interest in our service offerings and scheduling meetings on behalf of sales directors. We are seeking an individual from diverse backgrounds to contribute their skills to the lead generation team. Experience working in corporate sales is a plus.

**Daily Responsibilities**:

- Making outbound B2B calls to business owners in East Africa
- Qualifying businesses based on financials and opportunity
- Booking appointments and diary management
- Capturing data and activities into a bespoke CRM environment
- Understanding recent industry transactions and their key aspects, such as structure, pricing, timing, and be aware of recent market activities
- Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals
- Comply with all policies, practices and procedures and report all unsafe activities to supervisor
- Perform other duties as assigned

**Requirements**:
As an Analyst, you must be a highly energetic and passionate individual with a positive and highly motivated ‘can do’ attitude. You must have the strong desire and ambition to succeed in this hugely rewarding industry. It is also vital for your role as an Analyst that you possess excellent verbal communication, analytic, and interpersonal skills as well as presentation abilities.
- Very strong communication skills: Confidence in written and oral presentations to C-suite level executives
- An excitement to learn from and contribute to a dynamic and interactive team
- Ability to research appropriate prospective companies, based on an understanding of multiple industries and key events driving growth
- Knowledge of global economic conditions, and a keen interest in M&A activity in the South African market
- Patience, resilience and tenacity in working in high-pressure situations with the ability to handle a rigorous schedule of deadlines
- Good listening skills, with quick comprehension of information gleaned through telephone conversations
- Ability to change an intended approach and be agile in responding during telephonic conversations
- Accept guidance and advice from team members, with a willingness to conform to required processes
- Show attention to detail, due care, diligence, excellence, and be empathetic
- Swahili and/ or Afrikaans is advantageous
