Job Title: Quality Assurance Assistant (Temporary 6-8 months)

Location: Irene, Pretoria

Your day at Ferring

Product Batch Release:
- Obtain batch-specific documentation.- Send test samples for post-importation retest.- Conduct full document audit before final release approval.

QA Reporting:
- Generate reports on credits, ADR, complaints, inventory releases, etc.- Prepare annual Quality Review Report.

Credit Requests Management:
- Assess credit requests, ensuring quality-related documentation inclusion.

Support to QA, Regulatory, and Medical Departments:
- Assist RP, DRP, or MAM with assigned tasks.- Handle document control tasks, including SOP updates, technical agreements, CAPA implementation, etc.- Support internal and external audits, including supplier audits and regulatory inspections.

Other QA Duties:
- Order Reference Standards for Product Information Technology (PIT).

Behind our innovation There’s you- You bring the following skills and experience to Ferring-
- Experience with quality management software systems (i.e. Veeva Vault) is advantageous.- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including vlookups and pivot tables.- Qualified Post Basic Pharmacist Assistant registered with SAPC, or a relevant scientific discipline degree/diploma (National Diploma/B.tech/Bachelor's) will be advantageous.- Previous experience in pharmaceutical or related industries, preferably with knowledge of quality assurance principles and cGMP requirements will be advantageous.- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills, adept at identifying and resolving problems effectively.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering collaboration within team environments.- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and excel in fast-paced environments.- Attention to Detail: Meticulous in reviewing and analyzing information, ensuring accuracy in all tasks.- Accuracy: Consistently delivers precise and error-free work, maintaining high-quality standards.- Prioritization: Capable of effectively organizing tasks and managing time to meet deadlines and fulfil responsibilities.- Big-Picture Thinking: Able to grasp the broader context of projects and tasks, understanding their implications and aligning actions accordingly.- Work Under Pressure: Demonstrates resilience and maintains composure while handling demanding situations or tight deadlines.- Drive for Solutions: Proactively seeks and implements solutions to challenges, fostering a problem-solving mindset.- Communication Skills: Articulate in conveying ideas and information clearly and effectively, fostering collaboration with peers and senior professionals.- Respectful: Treats colleagues and stakeholders with professionalism, courtesy, and consideration.- Ethical and Honest: Upholds principles of integrity and honesty in all actions and interactions, maintaining trust and credibility.
