Our client, a distinguished hospitality provider renowned for creating exceptional guest experiences in a luxurious and tranquil environment, is seeking a skilled Lodge Manager. The lodge offers a unique combination of comfort and adventure, catering to guests who are looking for both relaxation and exploration.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Operational Management**:

- Oversee daily operations of the lodge, ensuring smooth and efficient running of all departments including front desk, housekeeping, and food and beverage services.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.
- Monitor and manage inventory, ordering supplies, and ensuring that all equipment and facilities are well-maintained.
- **Guest Service**:

- Provide exceptional guest service, addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring that all guest needs are met promptly and effectively.
- Implement guest feedback mechanisms and continuously seek ways to enhance the guest experience.
- **Staff Management**:

- Recruit, train, and manage lodge staff, including setting performance expectations, providing coaching and feedback, and fostering a positive work environment.
- Conduct regular staff meetings and ensure ongoing professional development for team members.
- **Financial Management**:

- Develop and manage the lodge budget, including forecasting, monitoring expenses, and ensuring financial targets are met.
- Analyze financial reports and implement strategies to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
- **Marketing & Promotion**:

- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement promotional strategies to attract and retain guests.
- Represent the lodge at industry events and build relationships with travel agents, tour operators, and other business partners.
- **Compliance & Safety**:

- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and regulatory requirements, including maintaining a safe and secure environment for guests and staff.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and address any issues promptly.

**Requirements**:

- **Experience**:

- Minimum of 10 years of experience in lodge or hotel management, with a proven track record of successful operational and staff management.
- Extensive experience in guest services and hospitality management.
- **Skills & Competencies**:

- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on guest satisfaction and problem resolution.
- Proficiency in property management systems, financial reporting, and budget management.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment and adapt to changing demands.
- **Qualifications**:

- Relevant diploma or certification in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Additional certifications in hospitality or management are advantageous.
- **Personal Attributes**:

- A passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail.
