***EXPERIENCE**:
- Proven experience as an ICT Technician or in a similar role, with a focus on end user environments.
**Duties & Responsibilities**:
**End User Support**
- Provide technical support to end users, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues, responding to inquiries, and resolving problems promptly.
- Install, configure, and maintain end user devices such as desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
**Hardware and Software Management**
- Perform hardware upgrades, replacements, and repairs as needed.
- Conduct regular software audits to ensure compliance with licensing agreements.
**System Administration**
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in collaboration with the system administrators.
- Monitor system performance and implement optimisations to enhance end user experience.
**Network Connectivity**
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues for end user devices.
- Collaborate with the network team to ensure seamless and secure access to resources.
***Security and Compliance**
- Implement and enforce security protocols for end user devices, including antivirus software and encryption.
- Stay informed about the latest security threats and ensure that end user environments are protected against potential risks.
**Documentation and Training**
- Create and maintain documentation for hardware and software configurations, troubleshooting procedures, and user guides.
- Conduct training sessions for end users on best practices, security protocols, and efficient use of technology.
**Collaboration**
- Work closely with other ICT team members to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.
- Collaborate with vendors to resolve hardware and software-related problems.
**Stay Current with Technology**
- Stay informed about emerging technologies and trends in end user computing.
- Make recommendations for the adoption of new technologies to enhance end user productivity.
**Knowledge Skills & Abilities**:
- Strong inclination towards administrative tasks with the ability to efficiently remote operations.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct technical research to identify solutions and improvements for administrative and ICT-related challenges.
- Exceptional organisational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the capacity to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Teams and SharePoint administration, including site management, permissions, and customisation.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct technical research to identify and implement solutions to complex technical issues.
- Strong organisational, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in office productivity tools and collaboration platforms.
