Organon South Africa is looking for a seasoned B-BBEE Transformation Specialist for a duration of 1 year/ fixed term contractor.

The B-BBEE Transformation Specialist is responsible for partnering effectively with business leaders and supporting the the HR Lead and B-BBEE custodians to lead, implement and execute B-BBEE transformation interventions across the local organization. Ensuring that the organization complies with legislative requirements and aligns with the business strategy and aspirations. The key focus for the individual is to monitor implementation of various B-BBEE initiatives and identify sustainable programs that support the following pillars:
Ownership

Socio Economic Development
- Monitor transformation and B-BBEE legislative changes and updates and ensure compliance
- Coordinate the preparation and approval of the Employment Equity plan
- Coordinate the preparation and approval of the WSP&ATR plan
- Prepare Operating Companies numerical goals and targets
- Prepare Operating Companies B-BBEE targets and goals
- Work with Operating Companies BEE Champions, monitor integrity of data, submit data online
- Coordinate and prepare and implement the organizations B-BBEE audit process
- Formulate and implement plans to ensure supplier B-BBEE certification ( ensure certificates are in place) and internal reporting
- Responsible for facilitating, leading and implementing monthly B-BBEE Committee Audit Meetings
- Drive and support Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB) strategy and identify programs that create a diverse and inclusive environment
- Provide continuous recommendations and opportunities that contribute to the B-BBEE scorecard
- Drive internal awareness on the importance of procuring from B-BBEE certified suppliers.
- Manage relationships with socio-economic, enterprise and supplier development beneficiaries.
- Scale the enterprise and supplier development program and ensure the program is aligned with the overall company strategy.
- Collaborate with the Finance team to ensure that the B-BBEE budget is aligned with strategy.
- Work with the Communication and Digital team to develop an internal and external communication plan which clearly reflects the corporate and social impact of all the initiatives.

Minimum Requirements:

- B-BBEE MDP would be advantageous
- Minimum 5 - 8 years experience managing the entire B - BBEE Value Chain
- Understanding and experience of local employment laws ( BCEA, EE, SD, OSH, BBBEE)
