Your Purpose...
- To help us ensure that business risks are identified and that controls are functioning adequately and effectively to mitigate those risks.
- To issue reliable and independent reports to the business regarding compliance and the effectiveness of club processes and policies.
Your Duties and Responsibilities...
- Independent and objective completion of internal audits at NHO and clubs as determined by the approved risk-based internal audit plan.
- Conduct planned club audits.
- Identification of key business risks across all levels of the business, and provision of appropriate recommendations considering current business and economic conditions and best practices.
- Driving risk awareness within the business through appropriately highlighting weaknesses or gaps in existing processes, policies and procedures.
- Selecting samples and communicating sample selections and requirements with the process owners.
- Executing the audit program to test controls that have been deemed adequate.
- Reporting issues identified and obtaining management comments for the resolution of issues identified.
- Communicating any delays and issues in performing tasks to the National Internal Audit Manager.
- Clearing review notes and queries raised by the National Internal Audit Manager on Internal Audit work performed.
- Ad hoc investigations into reported or identified risks.
- Implement internal audit and quality control policies and procedures, guided by local and international best practice.
Our Minimum Requirements...
- Matric qualification and/or similar.
- Experience with business process and information systems design.
- At least 1-2 years' experience in completion of Internal Audits.
