Job Summary : We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Personal Assistant to support a dynamic Interior Designer based in Sandton.

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess excellent communication skills, proficient in Microsoft Excel and have a passion for interior design.

Key Responsibilities :
  1. Administrative Support : Manage the designer's schedule, appointments, and travel arrangements. Handle phone calls, emails, and correspondence.
  2. Project Coordination : Assist in the planning and execution of interior design projects. Coordinate with clients, suppliers, and contractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  3. Client Relations : Serve as the first point of contact for clients. Maintain professional and courteous communication, addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly.
  4. Office Management : Oversee the day-to-day operations of the office, including ordering supplies, maintaining inventory, and ensuring a tidy workspace.
  5. Research and Sourcing : Conduct research on design trends, materials, and suppliers. Source and procure items needed for projects.
  6. Event Planning : Assist in organizing and coordinating events, such as client meetings, presentations, and industry networking events.
  7. Documentation : Prepare and maintain project documentation, including contracts, invoices, and design plans.
Qualifications :
  1. Education : High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in business administration or a related field are a plus.
  2. Experience : Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Personal Assistant or in a similar role, preferably within the interior design or creative industry.
  3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite : (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  4. Skills : Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong written and verbal communication abilities. Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively. Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  5. Personal Attributes : Professionalism : Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. Adaptability : Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure. Team Player : Collaborative and able to work well within a team environment.
