PURPOSE:

Drive business development by acquiring new clients and expanding market presence for Pivotal Talent solutions. The role focuses on proactive sales, client acquisition, and revenue growth through a consultative, solution-driven approach.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. New Business Development: Proactively identify and engage potential clients, focusing on opening and closing new opportunities.
  2. Sales Execution: Effectively pitch and sell Pivotal Talent, demonstrating a strong understanding of the talent recruitment, management and development function. Focus on solution selling closely aligned with client business needs.
  3. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring continued engagement, sustained growth and loyalty.
  4. Revenue Growth: Meet and exceed sales targets by closing new business and securing ongoing renewal revenue.
  5. Market Research: Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and client needs to position Pivotal Talent uniquely and effectively.
  6. Sales Reporting & CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline management, and forecasting in the CRM system.
  7. Networking & Outreach: Attend industry events, conferences, and networking sessions to generate leads and build relationships.

TECHNICAL EXPERTISE:

  1. Consultative Selling: Ability to understand client needs and position solutions accordingly.
  2. Pipeline Management: Strong skills in managing and advancing sales pipelines.
  3. Negotiation & Closing: Proven track record in negotiating deals and closing sales.
  4. B2B Sales Strategy: Experience in developing and executing B2B sales strategies.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  1. Experience: Minimum 3 years in related roles.
  2. Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of talent solutions, recruitment, or workforce optimisation.
  3. Sales Skills: Proven ability to open new business, negotiate deals, and drive revenue growth.
  4. Client Management: Skilled in consultative selling and relationship-building.

COMMENCEMENT DATE:

Immediate: Available from 1 February 2025 onwards.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS PACKAGE:

Includes: Base Salary, Commission Structure (40% base – 60% commission model), On-Target Earnings (OTE): Potential to exceed R800,000 per year, Expenses, Laptop provided.
