Job purpose

This role plays a crucial part in headhunting top talent, managing candidate pipelines, conducting pre-screens, and co-ordinating recruitment projects with hiring managers. You'll be instrumental in ensuring a smooth, efficient, and engaging hiring process and an exceptional candidate experience. The role represents the company at all times with professionalism and enthusiasm, becoming an advocate for company values, communities and employer branding.

Duties and responsibilities

Talent Acquisition

  • Proactively source and engage top-tier candidates for critical roles through direct headhunting, LinkedIn outreach, and industry networking.
  • Manage talent pipelines on LinkedIn and the ATS, tracking potential candidates for future hiring needs.
  • Coordinate recruitment projects alongside hiring managers, ensuring timelines and expectations are met.
  • Conduct pre-screening interviews to assess candidate suitability and alignment with the company's culture and values.
  • Manage job postings and ensure a compelling employer brand presence.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to influence structured interview processes and candidate assessment approaches.
  • Provide an exceptional candidate experience, maintaining engagement and communication throughout the hiring process.

Talent Development

  • Support a new initiative to redesign and launch an onboarding program to ensure a seamless transition for new hires into the business.
  • Support new team members with identifying their learning path, connecting them to LinkedIn Learning and other L&D opportunities.
  • Maintain focus on meeting talent metrics, providing data and reporting on pipeline progress, and recruitment effectiveness.

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in talent acquisition, recruitment, or talent development (ideally within tech, SaaS, or IT environments).
  • Strong knowledge of headhunting techniques, LinkedIn Recruiter, and candidate engagement strategies.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to partner effectively with hiring managers.
  • Organised, with project management skills to drive recruitment processes forward.
  • Experience using ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems) and recruitment tools.
  • A passion for hiring and developing top talent in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment.
