MORE Family Collection is seeking an experienced video and photo editor to become part of the marketing team. You will be required to transform footage, images and audio into compelling content that captures the essence of our hotels, lodges and safari experiences. You will be responsible for creating short-form and long-form content for social media, websites, promotional materials and YouTube. A successful candidate will need to be able to work under deadlines, manage multiple projects, and collaborate with other team members in the production pipeline.

KEY FOCUS AREAS

  1. Content Planning and Evaluation
    • Organise content files for easy access and future use
    • Evaluate raw content in relation to its suitability for given briefs, shot lists and storyboards
    • Analyse raw content to identify key moments and select the most impactful shots or moments
    • Study and follow a script, outline or brief when performing edits
    • Improve or correct content lighting, colouring and quality
    • Stay up to date with social media trends and adapt content accordingly
  2. Content Editing
    • Add text overlays, subtitles, and captions for clarity and engagement
    • Identify ways to improve and enhance footage through effects, transitions or music
    • Implement effective storytelling and pacing through your editing techniques and choices
  3. Collaboration and Communication
    • Revise edits based on feedback from the team to ensure high quality, brand aligned content
    • Effectively collaborate with other video production team members to ensure that the edited product is brand representative
Requirements, Qualifications And Skills
  • 3+ years' experience in video editing
  • Proficiency with image and video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Lightroom and Audition
  • Knowledge of luxury hospitality sector (preferred)
  • Understanding of safari and wildlife content (preferred)
  • Excellent editing skills with a strong attention to detail and the ability to adapt your editing style for different platforms/formats
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Knowledge of current social media trends and how to optimise content for each platform.
