Business Development Manager

Our client is looking for a passionate and results-driven Business Development Manager (Wine) to lead export sales efforts and expand their wine portfolio in international markets.
Responsibilities:- Market Development: Identify and target new international markets for wine exports, focusing on building strong client relationships and expanding the brand's reach.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed export sales targets.
- Client Relationship Management: Maintain and nurture relationships with existing clients while actively pursuing new opportunities.
- Market Research: Analyze market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities and refine sales approaches.
- Contract Negotiation: Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with clients to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
- Product Promotion: Collaborate with marketing teams to develop promotional campaigns tailored to target markets.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to all export regulations and quality standards.
- Reporting: Monitor sales performance, prepare regular reports, and present updates to senior management.
- Travel: Represent the company at international trade shows, wine exhibitions, and client meetings to foster relationships and promote products.
- Strong sales and negotiation abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- In-depth knowledge of wine products, international markets, and export logistics.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced environment.
- Cross-cultural awareness and adaptability to interact with diverse clients.
- Proven track record in international wine sales or a related export role.
- Knowledge of wine production, varieties, and global wine markets.
- Familiarity with export regulations and logistics.
- Proficiency in English; additional language skills are an advantage.
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, International Trade, or a related field.
