Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the housekeeping department, including hiring, training, and supervising staff to ensure high standards of cleanliness and efficiency.
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure cleanliness and maintenance meet the establishments standards.
  • Manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as needed and ensuring cost-effective usage.
  • Develop and implement housekeeping policies and procedures to maintain consistent service quality and compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Prepare and manage the housekeeping departments budget, monitoring expenses and optimizing resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as maintenance and front office, to address guest requests and ensure a seamless guest experience.
  • Address guest complaints and special requests promptly, striving to enhance overall guest satisfaction.
Qualifications

Hotel Management Diploma and proven experience in a housekeeping management role within the hospitality industry.
