Job Responsibilities Plan, coordinate, and execute a wide range of corporate events, including conferences, trade shows, gala dinners, and product launches. Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and objectives for each event, providing tailored solutions to ensure success. Manage all logistical aspects of events, including venue selection, vendor negotiations, budgeting, and on-site management. Oversee the development of event marketing strategies to promote attendance and engagement. Lead and manage the events team, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality service delivery. Conduct post-event evaluations to assess success, gather feedback, and implement improvements for future events. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continually enhance our event offerings. Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, venues, and clients to foster repeat business. Prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders regarding event performance and insights. Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Events Management, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field. Proven track record in managing high-profile events and projects from conception to completion. Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in event management software and tools. Desired Experience Minimum of 5 years of experience in event management, preferably within an agency setting. Experience managing a team and leading projects effectively. Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously. A strong network of industry contacts and relationships. Salary & Benefits The salary for the Senior Events Manager position is competitive and offered on an annual basis, in Rand (R per month – R per month).
