Human Resources Officer @ Pepkor Lifestyle We are looking for a dynamic and focused Digital Business Analyst who will provide a specialist business and process analysis function whilst also performing the project manager role. The incumbent will be responsible for documenting and evaluating existing business processes, designing and implementing new business processes in support of the development of comprehensive fit‑for‑purpose and efficient processes to optimise business results whilst transitioning the project through its lifecycle. Key Requirements University degree (B Eng Industrial advantageous) Experience in Supply Chain and Logistics is advantageous 3 years’ work experience in the Retail or Financial Industry, 5 years business analysis/business consulting experience Experience in Agile methodologies is advantageous Competency requirements and Job Specification Knowledge and understanding of project management principles Command of business analysis techniques – including the application of industry‑standard methodologies, techniques and use of software In‑depth knowledge of Pepkor Lifestyle policies, practices, processes and systems Understanding of the Pepkor Lifestyle operating model Express and implied ethical responsibilities Business process mapping Information processing Communication Knowledge and innovation management Program and project management Resource Management Internal and external networking Key Dials Initiate and execute Project Establishment & Initiation Activities Gather and document business requirements Analyse and document the changes required in system architecture Ensure that the solution is tested and validated against the business requirements Implement the solution and conduct a handover to operations Manage the project through its lifecycle Effective self‑management and teamwork Risk and Issue logging. Includes quantifying risks, identifying owners, and driving closure of logged risks and issues. Decision logging – logging critical decisions and driving the process to documentation of decision outcomes. Action log – minuting actions, assigning individuals with commitment dates, and driving follow‑up until closure. Prepare steer‑co packs with service providers, communicating completed and committed deliverables. With the Product Owner, define implementation dates and plan deliverables accordingly. Project plan covers both development and implementation phases. Drive the quote approval and purchase order process where required.
