Senior Business Analyst (12-month contract with possible renewal) We are seeking a seasoned Senior Business Analyst with extensive banking industry experience and a proven track record in migration projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of banking operations, and the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive successful project outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for migration projects within the banking domain. Conduct thorough business process analysis to identify areas for improvement and optimization. Develop detailed business process models, user stories, and functional specifications to support project objectives. Work closely with technical teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and ensure alignment with project goals. Facilitate workshops and meetings to elicit requirements, gather feedback, and drive consensus among stakeholders. Perform impact analysis to assess the implications of proposed changes on existing systems, processes, and operations. Provide subject matter expertise on banking regulations, compliance standards, and industry best practices. Support project managers in defining project scope, objectives, and timelines, and assist in the creation of project plans and deliverables. Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure clear communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle. Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate solutions and ensure they meet business requirements and quality standards. Identify and mitigate risks and issues related to migration projects, and escalate as necessary to ensure timely resolution. Role Requirements: 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the banking industry, with a focus on migration projects. Must have FTI or IIB certification. Strong understanding of banking products, processes, and systems, including core banking platforms, payment systems, and regulatory requirements. Proven experience in business process analysis, requirements gathering, and documentation. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to solve complex problems and make data-driven decisions. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and proficiency in Agile methodologies and tools. Solid organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliverables in a fast-paced environment. Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) is a plus. Experience with data migration tools and techniques is desirable. Knowledge of industry-standard project management practices and methodologies (e.g., PMBOK, PRINCE2) is advantageous. #J-18808-Ljbffr
