Technical Specialist

Who are we? Sanlam Group Technology is responsible for the provision of a digitally enabled technology service as a group COE, drive business and transformation and provide group-wide digital and data architecture. We operate the various technology platforms and shared services, ensure Cyber and Information Security resilience, and act as technology governance and risk orchestrator for technology across Sanlam. What will you do? The candidate hired for this role will be tasked to manage different document capture processes for various clients. The candidate will also be responsible for managing capacity, modifications, creating users, troubleshooting and general support functions in the different Kofax document capture processes. What will make you successful in this role? Configure and support implementation solutions utilizing the Kofax Total Agility (KTA) platform Work with integrated solutions using Kofax Capture, Kofax Transformation Modules (KTM), Kofax Total Agility (KTA), Kofax Import Connector, and other related Kofax technologies Lead and or assist with the creation of technical documentation and operating procedures supporting the build‑out of client solutions on the Kofax platform Task estimations & work allocation recommendations Proof of concepts Report on progress of technical tasks Maintain, and enhance systems based on business requirements using approved technologies standards Production support and standby duty Transition knowledge to team colleagues Qualification Matric Relevant IT degree or diploma Experience Minimum of 3 years Document Management experience specifically in:Kofax product suite aimed at content capture Development experience Kofax Robotics Process Automation experience Knowledge Solutions development and design Database skills Knowledge of Enterprise Content Management technologies and processes Ability to manage problems and liaise with relevant support areas to resolve the problem timeously Personal Attributes Decision quality - Contributing through othersAction orientated - Contributing independentlyCollaborates - Contributing independentlyManages complexity - Contributing independentlyNimble learning - Contributing independentlyTech savvy - Contributing independently Build a successful career with us We’re all about building strong, lasting relationships with our employees.
