Job Description We are looking for a Marketing Actuary to join our Protection Product Development Team . This role is pivotal in shaping competitive product strategies, supporting distribution, and driving growth in the Retail Risk market. You will collaborate across teams to deliver insights, develop compelling propositions, and enable intermediaries to succeed. In this role, you will form part of a team of marketing actuaries, tasked with competitor research, sales support, and new business delivery for Retail risk products. Key Result Areas Researching competitors and their products in the risk and investment space. Providing tactical responses to new competitor launches and competitor activity simply and practically, which shows opportunities for intermediaries. Input into product development in terms of design of new products and enhancements. Input into product marketing in terms of marketing and training material. Dealing directly with executives and distribution channels in terms of competitor analysis, special product functionality, presentations, workshops and general product queries. Travel from time to time to support the marketing of the various risk product solutions, e.g. on intermediary roadshows. Dealing directly with clients / intermediaries on product / industry related issues. Qualifications And Experience Required Senior Actuarial student making good progress with their actuarial exams. Substantial actuarial work experience. Dynamic and vibrant with great people skills. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Presentation experience would be an advantage. Proactive self-starter who shows initiative. Ability to work on a wide range of deliverables at once. Excellent interpersonal skills, energy and drive. The ability to work as a team member. High levels of drive, energy, and innovation.
