Overall Job Function: To be responsible for the system level product ownership DAU / HLD's, which involves maintaining the technical baseline, requirements management, verification and validation, production support as well as contract technical compliance. "System level product ownership DAU / HLD's" refers to a system engineer's responsibility in managing the technical and contractual aspects of a product throughout its lifecycle, in accordance with the processes and documentation standards often associated with the Defense Acquisition University (DAU) and related High-Level Documents (HLD). Qualifications BSc. or MSc in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 5 years' experience as a systems engineer. Good knowledge of various engineering disciplines specializing in RF, but including digital, software, mechanical, and power supplies. Requirement management tools such as Helix or DOORS. Product Life Cycle Management knowledge. Knowledge of satellite communication systems. Responsibilities Developing and Maintaining system technical baseline which will involve interfacing with product subject matter experts within Engineering. System integration and system level verification testing. Interfacing with program managers and customers on technical and commercial matters.
