Overview The System and Network Administrator is responsible for overseeing, managing, and maintaining IT infrastructure across multiple client environments. This role ensures seamless operation and security of both on‑premises and cloud‑based systems. Key Responsibilities Administer and maintain client network infrastructures, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless technologies (Cisco, SonicWall, Palo Alto). Manage and maintain server environments (Windows Server 2008‑2022, VMware, Hyper‑V) and support Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Azure environments. Implement and maintain firewalls and VPN solutions (Cisco AnyConnect, Meraki, SonicWall, Fortinet) for secure remote access. Monitor and manage security protocols (IDS/IPS, firewalls, anti‑virus), perform vulnerability scans, patch management, and maintain compliance. Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans. Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support for system, network, and application issues, using remote tools and ticketing systems. Diagnose and resolve issues in a timely manner, ensuring minimal disruption. Administer VMware environments (installation, configuration, maintenance of virtual servers). Support cloud services, particularly Azure, for scalable and resilient infrastructure. Collaborate with internal and external teams to provide IT solutions and support. Utilize ticketing systems (ConnectWise, Kaseya, ServiceNow) to track, manage, and resolve support requests. Ensure proper documentation of configurations and troubleshooting in the ticketing system. Proactively monitor network and system performance; detect and resolve potential issues before impact. Provide regular reports on system performance, uptime, and security incidents to management and clients. Requirements 5+ years of experience as a System and Network Administrator with proven experience in installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of network and data center technologies. 5+ years of helpdesk or technical support experience, providing frontline support and resolving issues via ticketing systems. Certifications such as Microsoft (MCSA), Cisco (CCNA), VMware (VCP) or equivalent. Seniority Level Mid‑Senior level. Employment Type Full‑time. Job Function Other.
