Overall Job Function

To be responsible for the
system level product ownership DAU/HLD's
, which involves maintaining the technical baseline, requirements management,
verification and validation
, production support as well as contract technical compliance.

"System level product ownership DAU/HLD's" refers to a
system engineer's responsibility
in managing the technical and contractual aspects of a product throughout its lifecycle, in accordance with the
processes and documentation standards
often associated with the
Defense Acquisition University (DAU)
and related
High-Level Documents (HLD)

Job Requirements

  • BSc. or MSc in Electrical Engineering
    with a minimum of
    5 years' experience
    as a systems engineer
  • Good knowledge
    of various engineering disciplines
    specializing in
    RF,
    but including
    digital, software, mechanical, and power supplies
  • Requirement management
  • Requirement Management
    tools such as Helix or DOORS
  • Product Life Cycle
    Management
  • Knowledge of satellite communication systems

Job Responsibilities

  • Developing and Maintaining system
    technical baseline which will involve interfacing with product subject matter experts within Engineering
  • System integration
    and
    system level verification testing
  • Interfacing with program managers
    and customers on technical and commercial matters
  • Addressing
    production and maintenance issues.
