Reference: 10789 NB Consultant: NineBroodryk Job Description: Strategic Leadership Develop and implement short- and long-term strategies. Identify growth opportunities and oversee their execution. Ensure alignment between operational goals and the organisation’s strategic direction. Responsible for the full management function of the business. Financial Management Manage profitability, cashflow, and budgeting processes in collaboration with the Financial Manager. Evaluate risks and implement appropriate risk-management measures. Monthly reporting relating to profitability, debtors, and management of operational expenses. Operational Management Manage processes, policies, and procedures to maintain quality and compliance. Oversee all operational functions to ensure optimal efficiency. People Management Manage organisational structures, role allocation, succession planning, and talent development in collaboration with the HR department. Ensure effective communication, support, and performance management within the department. Client Management Build and maintain strategic relationships with clients, suppliers, and external partners. Ensure service levels are continuously improved to optimise client satisfaction. Qualifications A relevant degree in Business Management, Logistics, Commerce or similar. An MBA will be advantageous. Minimum of 15 years’ industry knowledge and 10+ years’ experience in a senior management role, preferably within logistics, transport, or an operational environment. At least ten years’ experience in a senior leadership role where performance was measured against achieving predetermined profit targets.
