In this role, you will plan, coordinate, and implement merchandising strategies that keep our shelves stocked, our displays captivating, and our customers delighted. From inventory management and pricing to quality control and vendor collaboration, you will ensure every detail aligns with our brand promise. You will work closely with the Merchandising Specialist, product management team, suppliers, and store teams to maintain product integrity, boost sales, and deliver an exceptional customer experience. Responsibilities Assess community needs to provide assistance on products and services such as caskets, urns, and memorial items. Assist the Merchandising Specialist in establishing competitive pricing strategies and contributing to marketing plans. Support product lifecycle management from concept to phase‑out to ensure alignment with market trends. Manage product launches and maintain consistent brand alignment. Conduct competitive pricing analyses and provide feedback to the Merchandising Specialist. Create promotional campaigns and marketing materials and secure approval from Management. Provide sales support to agents and regional managers. Collect and analyse client feedback to refine strategies and ensure compliance with brand standards. Track campaign performance and recommend adjustments to enhance visibility, profitability, and engagement. Track and manage inventory levels, documenting turnover and quality assessments. Coordinate with vendors to order supplies based on lead times and forecasts. Inspect incoming products for quality compliance and report discrepancies. Maintain accurate records of stock movements, write‑offs, and replenishments. Develop and track budgets for product and merchandising activities. Conduct expense and variance analyses to identify cost‑saving opportunities. Prepare financial and inventory performance reports for the Merchandising Specialist. Collaborate with Finance to update cost sheets and provide reconciliations. Engage with clients, providing detailed information on product offerings and customisation options. Support store and agency teams in delivering customer service aligned with company values. Conduct follow‑ups with clients to ensure satisfaction. Collect customer feedback to inform future product improvements. Educate and train staff on funeral products, sales techniques, and service standards. Keep store and sales teams updated on new product launches, features, and market trends. Assist in preparing product information sheets and visual display guides.
