Job Summary American Express is seeking enthusiastic and service-oriented individuals to join our team as Virtual Customer Care Professionals. As a Virtual Customer Care Professional, you will be the first point of contact for our valued card members, assisting them with inquiries, transactions, and solutions that strengthen their relationship with American Express. Key Responsibilities Provide high-quality customer support through phone, chat, or email. Handle billing inquiries, account issues, card benefits, and general service requests. Deliver tailored solutions that create value for customers and foster loyalty. Meet performance targets such as call quality, service level, and resolution time. Navigate multiple systems efficiently to provide accurate and timely information. Escalate complex issues when necessary while maintaining ownership until resolved. Uphold American Express brand values by delivering service with empathy, clarity, and excellence. Required Skills and Qualifications Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with a customer-first mindset. Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in basic computer operations and navigating multiple software tools. Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities. Self-motivated, disciplined, and capable of working independently from home. Experience Prior customer service experience is preferred (contact center, hospitality, retail, or financial services). Freshers with strong communication and problem-solving skills are welcome to apply. Working Hours Flexible schedules are available with options for full-time and part-time positions. Candidates must be willing to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. Paid training is provided before active customer support begins. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge of customer service principles and practices. Familiarity with credit card, financial, or banking products (preferred but not mandatory). Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging customer interactions. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and data security.
