Sales & After Market Process/ Service Engineer - Gauteng

Our client solves complex liquid-solid separation challenges and due to expansion they are looking to employ a Sales and After Market Process/Service Engineer who will be travelling to African countries such as Namibia, Botswana, Tanzania, and Zambia. The ideal incumbent will be an independent, self-sufficient, and adventurous technocrat who prefers to work in the field rather than being stuck in an office. Enjoys working with different people, cultures, and religions and an adventurous traveler.

Travel requirements: You will be travelling approximately 6 times per year for 5 days at a time.
Job description / core competencies:
You will be travelling approximately 6 times per year for 5 days at a time. As Sales and After Market Process/Service Engineer you will provide ongoing customer service and technical information to the end user, support the international customer base, and facilitate the sale of capital equipment and spare parts to a new and existing customer base drawing on the support of company’s senior members and back-office. You should also be comfortable talking to EPC/M engineering houses and should ideally already have a network to access.

Job Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
BTech/BSc Eng
5-8 years of technical knowledge in process engineering/liquid solid separation/tailings management.
Ideal person would have some knowledge w.r.t. doing test work and commissioning of thickeners, vacuum belt filters, pressure filters and/or same technologies/equipment.
