Overview The role is responsible to develop and articulate a clear digital transformation vision and strategy aligned with the company’s overall business goals and provide safe and secure innovative digital initiatives. Key to this role is managing digital projects Responsibilities Strategic Leadership Development of digital transformation strategy for the company Creation of implementation roadmap Operational Excellence Implementation of digital tools and platforms Automation of key processes Technology Implementation Evaluation and selection of technologies Integration with existing systems Data Management and Analytics Development of data strategy Implementation of analytics tools Customer Experience Enhancement of digital channels Collection of customer insights Change Management Cultural change initiatives Employee training programs Risk Management and Compliance Cybersecurity measures Compliance with regulations e.g POPIA Performance Measurement Definition of KPIs and metrics Regular performance reviews Collaboration and Partnerships Cross-functional collaboration Establishment of external partnerships Innovation Setup of innovation sessions and platforms Monitoring of market trends Qualifications Proven experience in a similar role – CTO/CIO/Head of IT Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Master’s Degree in Business Administration or equivalent is an added advantage. Project management experience is key Knowledge of modern ERP and cloud systems an advantage.
