Territory Manager, Austin, TX - Medical Dermatology Objective The Sun Medical Dermatology Territory Manager is responsible for promoting Sun’s branded dermatology portfolio and optimizing the business opportunities in targeted physician offices, key clinics and institutions that specialize in medical dermatology. The role requires excellence in developing and implementing territory business plans that lead to achievement of sales goals and objectives. Required Bachelor Degree Pharmaceutical and/or Medical Device sales experience Strong communication skills and business acumen Ability to collaborate, innovate, adapt and deliver results Valid driver’s license Preferred 5+ years pharmaceutical sales experience 3+ years medical dermatology sales experience Experience selling products in a complex Market Access environment Experience promoting high-science products Product launch experience Experience selling in a highly competitive environment Personal Skills / Attributes This individual must have a positive attitude and be adaptable to a dynamic environment while maintaining focus on achieving territory business goals. They should be highly motivated, highly professional, and capable of building trust with their matrix team. They must be transparent, ethical, compliant in all activities, and proficient at selling and presenting detailed scientific subject matter in a clear and understandable fashion. General Responsibilities / Decision Making Authority Reports directly to the Regional Sales Manager Leverages CRM, sales data, and reports Manages timely call reporting and expense reporting Manages promotional budgets within the territory Meets monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Reports to Regional Sales Manager. INTERACTIONS WITH OTHERS: Interacts at multiple levels inside and outside the company. Tact, diplomacy, and a high level of professionalism are essential.
