Initiating, budgeting, planning and implementing projects Initiating and completing major capital and extraordinary maintenance projects according to budget Co-responsible to ensure maximum plant availability regarding Instrumentation equipment and systems for following plants:Water treatment and distribution plants Air generation Power generation Steam generation Energy distribution and control Compiling detail technical specifications Quality control of projects, machinery and installations Improving the process availability of the plant Technical support to the maintenance sections as above Failure analysis Training of Instrumentation personnel Liaising with outside companies and other sections within the works Render an efficient and effective service which includes ISO 9002 and ISO 14001 Standby Qualification :National Diploma (NQF 6/10) in Instrumentation Experience and Requirements :Minimum 18 months experience as Instrument Technician Preferable experience in engineering environment Applicants must have a sound knowledge of Instrumentation systems and the maintenance of measuring and control equipment Extensive k nowledge of analytical equipment Extensive knowledge of systems networking Computer literate in MS Project; MS Word, MS Excel and power point Experience in SAP PM Modules is recommended Be in possession of a Code B drivers license Excellent knowledge of both DCS’s and PLC’s ABB DCS knowledge and ABB SCADA knowledge will be advantageous Rockwell PLC programming and Rockwell SCADA programming Personal Attributes :Safety conscious Able to work in a team Superior knowledge and application of skills in faultfinding Superior technical knowledge to be applied in relation to plant equipment Highly motivated Candidate must be pro-active and performance driven #J-18808-Ljbffr
