The OpportunityWe are CrediWise, a Microfinance company based in Cape Town looking for a detail-oriented Loan Verifications Manager to lead and refine our verification and credit risk workflows. This is a critical role in ensuring accuracy, authenticity, and compliance during our loan application process. Key Responsibilities Manage and oversee verification of customer documents and dataSupervise a small team of verification officers / analystsImplement and maintain verification SOPs and quality control standardsUse tools like TruID, Debicheck, and credit bureau platformsCollaborate with internal teams (collections, compliance, sales)Ensure full compliance with NCA, POPIA, FICA, and internal policies Minimum Requirements 3+ years in verifications, credit risk, or financial services1+ years in a team lead or supervisory roleExperience in microlending or payday loan operations strongly preferredStrong analytical skills, attention to detail, and fraud detection awarenessFamiliarity with fintech tools and digital workflows Job Type : Full-timePay : R ,00 - R ,00 per monthWork Location : In person #J-18808-Ljbffr
