Sales Development Representative

As we expand, we are looking for a Sales Development Representative to join our team based in Cape Town, South Africa. This role will involve directly engaging with prospective clients, driving warm leads through the sales funnel, and proactively prospecting for new business opportunities.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Researching and identifying new sales opportunities targeting the right companies, customers, and clients (e.g., local corporates, events, decision-makers) and exploring potential partnerships and sales channels.
Building effective relationships with potential clients through appropriate questioning, clarification, and language.
Generating a designated number of sales-qualified leads based on targets set by the manager through outbound calls and successfully selling Charles Hope’s services and products, either directly or by booking appointments for the Sales Manager.
Following up with clients after calls, providing information and proposals.
Following up touchpoints with prospective clients to confirm receipt of information, overcome objections, and re-sell the proposition when necessary.
Ensuring the CRM system is updated with detailed and high-quality notes after client communications (experience with HubSpot is advantageous).
Identifying opportunities to cross-sell Charles Hope’s offerings to generate additional business and increase profitability.
Promoting a positive and enthusiastic image of the company to maintain a professional brand and reputation with both customers and colleagues.
Collaborating with marketing to support demand generation campaigns.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
5 years of relevant B2B lead generation/sales experience.
Strong ability to conduct research to identify new prospects and opportunities with a passion for understanding the target market and company products.
Self-starter with a hunger to identify and pursue new prospects and opportunities.
Highly agile, dynamic, and flexible in approach.
Well-developed communication skills, both written and verbal, with a clear telephone manner and active listening skills.
Strong drive and motivation to achieve targets, with a resilient and proactive mindset.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Experience with CRM software (HubSpot experience is advantageous).
Previous experience in the property or rental sector (serviced apartments, long-term rentals, or corporate travel) is an advantage.
Experience with presentation development and customization is a plus.
