Overview We are seeking a sales-driven Portfolio Manager to support agricultural business growth, generating leads, maximise profitability, build client relationships, and ensuring financial targets are consistently. Responsibilities Support senior team members in driving business growth and profitability within the agriculture portfolio, focusing on client engagement and opportunity identification. Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients and/or suppliers, ensuring consistent business development. Conduct regular meetings with new and existing clients to understand their needs and promote tailored financial solutions. Build strong relationships to uncover additional business opportunities and promote complementary products and services across the Merchant West Group. Support financial assessments and contribute to structuring agreements that meet both client needs and company objectives. Ensure timely and efficient execution of new business transactions from initiation to closure, maintaining high standards of accuracy and professionalism. Negotiate terms and conditions with clients to secure mutually beneficial agreements. Analyse agricultural market trends to identify emerging opportunities and inform strategic decision-making.
