My client, a leading and well-known company based in Cape Town CBD requires a competent cpoywriter to join their team. The core purpose is to write engaging, persuasive and grammatically and factually correct product content for distribution to our eCommerce customers. Requirements: Grade 12 Minimum Relevant tertiary qualification is preferred Mac/ PC Literate Understanding of systems and procedures SA Citizens only Must be Criminal Clear Experience : At last 2 to 3 years experience writing product descriptions / retail sales copy eCommerce experience highly advantageous Behaviours, Skills and Attributes: Team player with the ability to work without supervision Handle fast-paced high pressure environment Good creative writing skills Excellent English usage spelling, grammar and language skills Pro-active Lateral thinker Aptitude for detail, accuracy and consistency Communicate effectively & promptly Problem solver Good interpersonal skills Responsibilities : Write customer-friendly and engaging product content for use on multiple channels Ensure all copy is accurate, grammatically and factually correct, and reads easily Ensure all content meets company standards Ensure that customer-specific content aligns to customers required style / voice Help build and maintain the content repository Meet daily product copy run-rate requirement
