Overview A well-established ICT distribution company based in Sandton is looking for an experienced IT Technician to join their team. Responsibilities Duties & Responsibilities Upgrading and Downgrading of Desktops and Notebooks RAM upgrades SSD installations Imaging of specific operating systems Migrating data from old HDDs to new HDDs/SSDs SSD / Hard drive upgrades Replacing internal components (screens, keyboards, etc.) Operating system upgrades Asset tagging Creating client documentation for asset tagging Etching company logos on laptops and all-in-one PCs Upgrading Dell Servers HDD installations RAM installations Installing additional CPUs Installing BOSS controllers OS deployment (if arranged) Network card installations Administrative Tasks Capturing stock received in the technical department Submitting monthly stock reports to Management Recording OS upgrades in spreadsheets Sending OS upgrade spreadsheets for system capture Notifying sales representatives when OS upgrades are ready for invoicing and capturing invoice numbers on the main spreadsheet Assisting clients with remote support Offsite Work Performing installations at client premises (RAM upgrades, imaging, etc.) Qualifications Must have Matric and a relevant qualification. Package & Benefits Basic Salary: R10 000 - R15 000 CTC pm. Working days and hours: Monday to Friday 08h00 - 17h00 Leave: 15 Days leave per annum Pension Medical Aid with Discovery Interested?
