Pricing Team Leader

Role Purpose To implement a best‑practice framework for the pricing function that ensures optimal operation of the business through a comprehensive range of fit‑for‑purpose and best‑in‑class business pricing strategies, solutions, and client services. Requirements Relevant Bm Degree at NQF level 6. Mathematics or Statistics at degree level is advantageous. Minimum of 5 years industry experience in a Pricing environment. Minimum of 3 years experience specifically within Employee Benefits and / or Risk business. Relevant supervisory / management experience in a Pricing environment or an ability to demonstrate this through other professional experience. Recognition of Prior Learning will be considered. Duties & Responsibilities Internal Process Manage the workflow so that targets are met and queries are resolved timeously. Engage and collaborate with various stakeholders (Sales teams and other departments) to ensure targets are met. Ensure all work from the team is accurate and delivered at a professional level. Perform quality assurance and improve processes to minimise operating expenses. Implement innovative and effective solutions to meet and enhance team targets. Client Build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders. Enhance Momentum Corporate’s image through professional client liaison. Define fair and innovative client service practices that build rewarding relationships. Contribute to a client service excellence culture, incorporating feedback and ensuring exceptional service. Drive efforts to improve client service and fair treatment of clients within the area of responsibility. People Create a positive work climate and culture to energise employees and maximise productivity. Demonstate exemplary leadership behaviour through personal involvement and commitment to organisational values. Foster an environment of continuous learning, improvement, teamwork, and cohesiveness. Finances Support client retention and new business acquisition through excellent customer service. Ensure pricing and terms & conditions in quotes and rate reviews align with the agreed risk approach and pricing strategy. Manage client / stakeholder engagement, commitment, and impact. Enhance business pricing capability, analysing claims experience and determining rates and cover limits.
