Introduction We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Draughtsman & BIM Specialist to lead the development of technical drawings and Building Information Models (BIM) for complex projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in CAD and BIM software, a strong understanding of construction and design principles, and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams. Key Responsibilities Draughting Duties: Prepare detailed technical drawings and plans using AutoCAD, Revit, or other CAD software. Interpret architectural and engineering designs and convert them into precise drawings. Ensure drawings comply with relevant standards, codes, and regulations. Review and revise drawings based on feedback from engineers, architects, and clients. Maintain organized drawing records and version control. BIM Duties: Develop and manage BIM models throughout the project lifecycle. Coordinate BIM workflows across disciplines (architecture, structure, MEP). Perform clash detection and resolve coordination issues using tools like Navisworks. Ensure BIM deliverables meet project requirements and standards (e.g., ISO, Train). Support junior staff in BIM processes and software. Skills & Knowledge Post Graduate Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field. Minimum 4–7 years of experience in draughting and BIM roles. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, and other BIM-related tools. Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and detailing. Experience working on commercial, residential, or infrastructure projects. Familiarity with BIM standards and protocols (e.g., PAS, ISO). Competencies Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong organizational and time management skills. Effective communication and teamwork abilities. Problem‑solving mindset with a proactive approach. Ability to mentor junior team members and lead by example.
