An established national survey business is seeking to employ a CAD Draughtsman / Modele on a permanent basis, to be based in Pretoria, Gauteng**.**

This position will play a crucial role in the CAD modelling department by working on As-built 3D modelling and topographic mapping projects for surveyors, engineers, and architects, using combinations of AutoCAD, ReVIT and MicroStation.

This growing company is seeking to employ both a Junior as well as Senior CAD Draughtsman/Operator.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Transform point clouds into accurate and intelligent 3D CAD-models using ReVIT and AutoCAD.
- Create detailed topographic contour maps using data received from land surveyors.
- Combine Aerial Photography and LiDAR data, and conventional survey data to produce detailed mapping using combinations of AutoCAD, ReVIT and MicroStation.
- Continuously research and implement emerging CAD technologies.
- Maintain CAD libraries and project documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish project objectives and timelines.

**The Senior CAD Draugtsman will**:

- Lead the CAD modelling team in transforming point clouds into precise 3D models.
- Utilise advanced CAD software and techniques to solve complex modelling challenges.
- Mentor junior draughtsmen, providing guidance and training.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure models meet industry standards and client expectations.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, ReVIT and MicroStation).
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for precision.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

**Salary, based on skills and experience**:

- **Junior**:R10k - R18k p/m
- **Senior**:R18k - R30k p/m
