We are Green Capital SA, a group that has co‑created the renewable energy market in Europe for more than 15 years. Recently, Green Capital has also strengthened its activity in other markets in Europe, Africa and South Africa. In these regions the company plans its growth based on the design, construction and operation of diversified renewable energy sources, energy storage and data processing centers. To support our expansion in South Africa, we are looking to reinforce our team with a talented individual based in Cape Town. Junior Project Developer (GIS Focus) Job mission Overall Project Development Support (RES) Assist across the full project lifecycle, covering site acquisition, planning and permitting. Site Acquisition Support Research property and landowner details for targeted sites. Create shapefiles for both prospective and already signed land parcels. Support preparation of land contracts and related property documentation. Compile property maps and collect key land documents (Title Deeds, SG Diagrams, etc.). Maintain updated land acquisition status lists and provide regular reporting. Planning and permitting support (with potential to lead some permitting tasks) Check environmental sensitivities and review relevant specialist input. Compile and prepare permitting application packs. Engage directly with authorities and stakeholders during approval processes. GIS And Mapping Prepare project layouts, maps and visualisations using GIS and other tools. Candidate Profile Education University degree preferred in one of the following fields: Geodesy and Cartography, Spatial Planning, Environmental Protection, Law, Energy, Telecommunications, or related disciplines. Experience Prior experience or internships in renewable energy, data centre development, real estate, or public administration will be a strong advantage. Technical Skills Practical knowledge of GIS software (e.g., QGIS, ArcGIS). Soft Skills Excellent organisational and prioritisation abilities. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Proactive and solution‑oriented mindset. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Other Requirements Category B driving licence and willingness to travel occasionally for business purposes.
